How to remove Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.x Agentless from an infrastructure managed by VMware NSX-V Manager

To remove Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.x Agentless from the virtual infrastructure managed by VMware NSX-V Manager, do the following:

  1. Delete all SVM (secure virtual machines) with application components. See the guide below.
  2. Delete the NSX Policy where the use of application services is configured. See the guide below.
  3. Delete an NSX Group which contains the protected virtual machines. See the guide below.
  4. Cancel registration of the Kaspersky Security services and the Integration Server (Kaspersky Service Manager) in VMware NSX-V Manager. See the guide below.

We recommend that you cancel registration of the Kaspersky Security services and Integration Server through the Integration Server Console.

If the process ends with an error, you can manually cancel through VMware vSphere Client:

  • Registration of the Kaspersky Security services. See the guide below.
