Error loading shared libraries during initial configuration of Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server in CentOS

Issue

An error may occur during initial configuration of Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server in CentOS:

"Setting up database 
Registering service klmsdb /opt/kaspersky/klms/libexec/postgresql/initdb: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Fatal error: Database initalization failed"

Solution

  1. In CentOS, install the libxcrypt.i686 package.
  2. Run the command:
/opt/kaspersky/kav4fs/bin/kav4fs-setup.pl

The initial configuration script will prompt you for configuration parameters step by step to configure Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server.
