This article applies to Kaspersky Administration Kit 8.0

In order to remove an application control plugin:

  1. Close the Administration console on the PC which has an Administration console and the control plugin you want to remove.

  2. Open Windows system registry on that PC (Start > Run > type regedit > click OK).

  3. Open the registry branch HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\Components\28\Plugins.

This branch contains a list of all antivirus software control plugins installed in the given Console. The key DisplayName contains a name of the corresponding application.

  4. Find the branch corresponding to the plugin you are looking for and copy the UninstallString key value.

  5. Open the command prompt (Start > Run), paste the copied value, and run the plugin removal command by clicking OK (or press Enter).
