The tab Notifications allows configuring notifications about application performance. The page contains several tabs:

  • Notifications

  • Actions

  • SNMP-Agent Settings

1. Notifications

This tab allows configuring delivery of notifications by email:



      • Sender;

      • Recipients by default;

      • Mailer (Kaspersky Anti-Virus internal mailer or any third-party MTA: Sendmail, Postfix, etc.);

      • for internal mailer: SMTP server address and port and mail queue directory path;

      • for a third-party MTA: mail queue directory path.


        Checking the box Notify by email unlocks the possibility to configure notification by events. To do it, click an event name and make changes in the following dialogue box:




      • Subject

      • Recipients list

      • Message text. It is allowed to use in-built macros in the text, e.g. %NOW% for event time or %HOST_NAME% to display the name of the host where the event occurred. You can view the full list of in-built macros on p.67 of the administrator's guide.

2. Actions




This tab allows configuring execution of proprietary scripts for each event. To do it, click the name of an event and enter your script text into the dialogue box:

3. SNMP-Agent Settings

This tab allows configuring Kaspersky Anti-Virus SNMP agent settings:




      • master agent address;

      • interval between requests;
