How to configure access permissions for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition functions

How to add or delete a user (group) or modify access permissions of a user (group):

  1. Go to the console tree and open context menu of snap-in for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition. Select Modify user permissions.



  2. In the dialogue box Permissions for Kaspersky Anti-Virus:
    • Click the button Add and select desired user(s)/group(s) to add them to Kaspersky Anti-Virus user list.
    • Check the box Allow for the following permissions in the section Permissions for <User (Group)> to grant permissions for Kaspersky Anti-Virus functions to the user/group selected in the list Group or user names:
      • Full control, grants access to all Kaspersky Anti-Virus functions;
      • Read, grants access to the functions Retrieving statistics, Read settings, Logs reading and Read permissions;
      • Modification, grants access to all Kaspersky Anti-Virus functions except Edit permissions.
    • Click the button Additional to customize the set permissions (Special permissions). Select a desired user/group and click the button Modify. Then check the box Allow or Block for desired function(s).
