Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition allows disabling access to files occupied during backup copying tasks in Real-time protection task.

Anti-Virus will not scan only the files accessed by read operation and flagged as BACKUP_SEMANTICS

This option can be enabled in Kaspersky Anti-Virus console:

  1. Open Kaspersky Anti-Virus console, right-click the node Kaspersky Anti-Virus and invoke the command Configure trusted zone.
  2. Go to the tab Trusted processes and check the box Do not check files backup operations (checked by default) and click OK.
  3. Open properties of the task Real-time file protection and check the box Apply trusted zone on the tab General.

This function does not affect on-demand-scan tasks.
