How to get a Network Agent trace file on Linux

To get a Network Agent trace file on Linux:

  1. Open for editing /etc/init.d/klnagent.
  2. Replace the line ${BIN} with ${BIN} -tl 5 -tf /tmp/klnagent.trace in the start section.

Network Agent configuration file in Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Linux File Servers 

  1. Save the changes and restart the Network Agent:
/etc/init.d/klnagent restart
  1. Enable detailed trace logging.
  2. Reproduce the issue.
  3. Disable detailed trace logging.
  4. Disable tracing. To do this, in the file /etc/init.d/klnagent replace the line
    ${BIN} -tl 5 -tf /tmp/klnagent.trace with ${BIN}.
  5. Save the changes and restart the Network Agent.
  6. Create a /tmp/traces folder or delete its contents if it already exists.
  7. Run the following commands:
grep klnagent /var/log/messages > /tmp/traces/klnagent.mesg
cp /tmp/klnagent.trace /tmp/traces
tar -jcf traces_nagent.tar.bz2 /tmp/traces
