After upgrading Windows Vista to Windows 7, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 cannot be started

If you upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7 on the computer with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 installed, then after the upgrade you may receive the error "Operating system version was changed since Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 installation. Please reinstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus."

For correct work of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 after operating system upgrade, reinstall the application. Do the following:

  1. Download the installer from the Kaspersky Lab site. You can find the information how to download a file on the following pages:
