In some cases, while working with Kaspersky Internet Security, the error "The application should be reinstalled" may appear.

In order to eliminate the problem, perform the following actions:

  1. Re-install Kaspersky Internet Security. To do so, uninstall the application and then install it once again:
  2. Activate a commercial version of Kaspersky Internet Security
  3. To change the interface language, press the key combination Shift + F12 (to restore the initial language, press the key combination Shift + F5)

Information You cannot change the interface language in JapaneseChinese and English versions of Kaspersky Internet Security. In this case, in order to migrate from Japanese and Chinese versions of Kaspersky Internet Security, you are required to purchase a license via E-Store.

If the error keeps repeating, perform the following actions:

  1. Download Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 .
  2. Create a bootable CD/DVD or USB device from the downloaded Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 image file.
  3. In the Kaspersky Rescue Disk window on the Objects Scan tab, check the box next to the system disk (usually disk C).
  4. Click on the Start Objects Scan button.

Once the scan is complete, Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 will display the window containing detected malicious files and suggested actions to be performed with them.

  1. Delete all detected objects.
  2. Once the actions described above are performed, reboot your computer in standard mode.

If the error still keeps repeating, perform the following actions:

  1. Create an AVZ log file.
  2. Create a report using the GetSystemInfo utility.
  3. Create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky Account service. Describe your problem in all details and attach the created AVZ log file and report of GetSystemInfo.
