Activation error. Active and additional keys are already registered

When you try to activate Kaspersky Internet Security the following message might be displayed “Active and reserve keys are already registered”. This error means that two activation codes have already been activated in the application and both keys/codes have not expired yet. 

In order to resolve the problem you are welcome to use either of the given resolutions: 

  • Wait until one of the previously activated licenses expires. 
  • Delete both keys. 
  • Delete the new key. 

In order to delete a new key, do the following:

  1. Click the Licensing link in the lower part of the window. 
  2. In the Licensing window click  in the New activation code section. 

  1. Click the Delete key button to confirm deletion.

  1. Close the main application window.

If the error keeps repeating create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky Account service. Describe your problem in all details.
