If the you receive the error “You have exceeded the maximum number of application copies that can be installed with one license” when you try to activate Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013, do the following:

1. Check the number of computers your license covers

Check for how many computers the current activation code can be used. Click the Licensing link in the main application window.

The number of computers stated in the Licensing window must be less or equal to number of computers on which Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 is installed and activated by the current activation code. For example, if you have a valid license for 1 computer, you cannot use the same license to activate two or more computers.

2. Buy additional licenses

If the number of computers that your license covers is less than the number of computers on which you want to activate Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013, then you can increase the number of covered computers via the Kaspersky LabeStore or by contacting our partners.

3. Contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support

If the number of computers on which the activation code was used does not exceed the number of computers stated in the Licensing window, then you have probably become a fraud victim. In this case, contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky service. In the request, give the following information:
  • Date and place of purchase
  • Activation code or license number
  • Info about the owner: first and last name, e-mail address
