This article concerns Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server Maintenance Pack 3 (version 8.0.3.30).
 
 
 
 

The number of scanning threads in Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Linux Mail Server are the number of scan processes that the application can run at once. The more threads that are allowed, the quicker mail will be scanned. However, the CPU load will increase significantly. 

We recommend setting twice as many scanning threads as there are physical kernels, not counting Hyper-threading.
