Trojan.Win32.Generic is software detected by the Kaspersky PURE 3.0 heuristic analyzer as potentially dangerous software. However, antivirus databases do not contain the required disinfect signature.

If any software installed on your computer was detected by Kaspersky PURE 3.0 as Trojan.Win32.Generic and this software was quarantined, but not deleted, then launch update of databases and modules. If the signature is added to the antivirus databases, then the detected malware will be disinfected or deleted. If according to the scan results some quarantined objects are not infected, then they will be restored to their initial place.

If a possibly infected file was not disinfected or deleted, then do the following:

  1. Restore the possibly infected file from Quarantine.
  2. Add the file to a zip-archive with the password “virus” (for example, using WinZip).
  3. Send a file for scan to Virus Lab.
