How to diagnose update issues in Kaspersky Lab products

If any problems occur while updating Kaspersky Lab products:
  1. Check if the system date is set up correctly on your computer.
  2. Check if your computer has an access to the Internet. To do this, try to open the Kaspersky Lab website. If you have no access to the Internet, contact your Internet service provider for additional information.
  3. Check if the user account is specified for updates in the application. In case it is, follow the instructions to select the current user. 
  4. Reset Internet Explorer settings.
  5. Check the availability of Kaspersky Lab update servers. To do this, click any of the links in the server address list. If the server page is successfully downloaded, the the Kaspersky Lab servers are accessible.
  6. If you have a third-party Firewall or other incompatible anti-virus software installed on your computer, remove it manually. You can find the list of incompatible software in the corresponding articles: Kaspersky Internet Security 2018, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2018, Kaspersky Total Security 2018.
  7. Make sure your computer is not infected:
