End of support for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2011

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 are no longer supported.

Upgrade the application to the latest version:

  1. Make sure you have a valid activation code. The code consists of 20 Latin letters of the following format:
    ХХХХХ-ХХХХХ-ХХХХХ-ХХХХХ. You may need to enter it once again for activating the new version of Kaspersky Internet Security.
    If you are not sure where to find the activation code, see this article for instructions.
  2. If you don’t have an activation code, click Licensing in the lower right corner of the application window and take a screenshot of the Licensing window with the license number. Technical support engineers will restore your activation code using this number.

  3. Open the Kaspersky Lab website and download the latest version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus to your computer.   
  4. Uninstall the 2011 version of your kaspersky Lab application. Make sure the checkbox for License information is selected at the Saving objects step.

  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Install the latest version of the application. 
  7. If it was not activated automatically, enter the activation code.

If any errors occur during uninstallation, installation, or activation, send a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via My Kaspersky. Please include a detailed description of the issue.
