The article refers to Kaspersky Security Cloud — Family and Kaspersky Security Cloud — Personal.

During activation of Kaspersky Security Cloud, you may get the error messages such as License problem or This license is not connected to My Kaspersky portal.

Cause of the error

The error occurs when Kaspersky Security Cloud cannot find the activation code in your My Kaspersky account.


Add the activation code to My Kaspersky. 

  1. Sign in to My Kaspersky under your account.
  2. Open the Licenses tab.
  3. Add the activation code for Kaspersky Security Cloud.

  1. The application will be activated automatically.  

If you don’t have the activation code, buy the license through My Kaspersky. The license will be automatically added to your account My Kaspersky and Kaspersky Security Cloud will be activated.
