Failed to upgrade a Kaspersky application in the background mode

If an error occurred when upgrading your Kaspersky application to the latest version, you will see a notification indicating the cause. 

Please send us data about the error so that we can improve our products.

  1. Click data in the error window to view a list of the data being sent.
  2. Read through the Kaspersky Lab Privacy Policy
  3. If you agree with all the points, click Send.

The Kaspersky application will collect and send the necessary data, and then delete it from your computer. 

If you don’t want to send us data about the error:

  1. Click Cancel.
  2. Delete the remaining files of earlier application versions using the kavremover tool. For instructions, see this article.
