Error 1723 when installing a Kaspersky application

When installing a Kaspersky application, you may encounter an error with the message "Error 1723: There is a problem with this installer package."

Solution 1

  1. If you use Windows 10 operating system, update it to the latest version. For details, see Microsoft website.
  2. Download the latest version of the application from the Kaspersky website and stat the installation again.

Solution 2

  1. Create a new Windows account with administrator rights. See the Microsoft support website for instructions.
  2. Restart your computer.
  3. Log into system under the newly created administrator account.
  4. Download the latest version of the application from the Kaspersky website and stat the installation again.
