Error 1303 or 1310 when installing a Kaspersky application

During installation of a Kaspersky application, you may get "Error 1303. The Setup Wizard has insufficient privileges to access this folder” or "1310. Error writing file".


  1. Uninstall the Kaspersky application using the kavremover tool.
  2. Make sure that the folder or file specified in the error window is removed. If this folder or file is not removed, remove it manually.
  3. Perform a clean boot of Windows. See the instructions on the Microsoft support website.
  4. Run the installer again.
