The tool for removing an application in case it cannot be removed using standard tools.

This article concerns:

  • Kaspersky Security Center 13 (version 13.0.0.11247)
  • Kaspersky Security Center 12 (version 12.0.0.7734)
  • Kaspersky Security Center 11 (version 11.0.0.1131)

The utility deletes the data created upon installing the program. We recommend to use it in the following cases:

  • An attempt to delete the Administration Server with regular Windows tools resulted in an error. Only certain fragments of the Administration Server were deleted, the program left traces in the system.
  • The previous version of the Administration Server was deleted with the utilities other than regular Windows tools and you need to install it anew.

We do not recommend that you use the utility if the Administration Server can be removed correctly with regular Windows tools.

Do not use this utility without a request from a Technical Support specialist.

How to use the utility

  1. Download the cleaner.zip archive and extract the files from it.
  2. Open the command line with administrator permissions.
  3. Run the following commands:

cleaner.exe /uc {83A28D53-EEDD-49E3-AE83-C806EB513388}
cleaner.exe /pc {54B5AE91-463A-4142-8892-307BCF28343F}

The data created upon installing the Administration Server will be deleted.

The command cleaner.exe /pc {54B5AE91-463A-4142-8892-307BCF28343F} can only be run after the command cleaner.exe /uc {83A28D53-EEDD-49E3-AE83-C806EB513388}.
