Untrusted Hosts Blocking in Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server

The Untrusted Hosts Blocking task protects the server with Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server installed from malware. The task blocks remote hosts' access to shared server files if Real-Time Protection or Anti-Cryptor detects malicious activity or cryptor activity from remote computers which try to access shared network resources.

To block access to shared network resources:

  1. Open the Kaspersky Security Console.
  2. Go to Server Control -> Untrusted Hosts Blocking.
  3. Click Start.

The infromation about blocked hosts will be available by the link List of untrusted nodes in the Properties section of Untrusted Hosts Blocking:

Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server does not block access to the hosts from the list of the task Untrusted Hosts Blocking has not been run.
