Patch А for Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac version 1.7.0.66 was released on February 28, 2022.

In patch A we have fixed several application issues.

Patch A is installed automatically along with database updates of Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac.

Patch C

Patch C for Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac version 1.5.0.116 was released on October 15, 2020.

Patch С allows upgrading to macOS 11.0 without reinstalling the application.

Patch C is installed automatically along with database updates of Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac.

Patch B

Patch B for Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac version 1.5.0.116 was released on July 23, 2020.

In patch B we have fixed the issue that arose because Apple enabled certificate expiration checking: when using a child's account, some sites using the HTTPS protocol did not open.

Patch B is installed automatically along with database updates of Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac.

Patch A

Patch A for Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac version 1.5.0.116 was released on March 24, 2020.

In patch A we have fixed the issue of compatibility with Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac version 20.0.0.829 in IPv6 networks.

Patch A is installed automatically along with database updates of Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac.

Patch A

Patch A for Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac version 1.0.4.74 was released on October 26, 2018.

Patch A:

• Adds macOS 10.14 support.
• Fixes errors.

Patch A will be installed with database update for Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac.

Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac was released on May 28, 2018. Full version number is 1.0.4.74. 

What's new

• Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac meets the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• While using Mac, a child can see the remaining time of allowed use.
• A child can request additional time for using Mac.
• Calculation of the remaining time of allowed use has been improved: now the time when the computer is idle is not included in the session.
• Protection against unauthorized uninstallation from a child’s device has been improved.

Known limitations

• Kaspersky Safe Kids for Mac does not work properly if a built-in Parental Control feature is enabled on the device.
• Mac service applications are displayed in My Kaspersky.
• If the name of your new Mac account is identical to the name of the deleted account that was previously protected by Kaspersky Safe Kids, then the previous settings will automatically apply to your new Mac account.
