Kaspersky PURE R2 always informs "Some components are disabled"

Applies to Kaspersky PURE R2

With Kaspersky PURE R2 installed this message might appear in the main application window of Kaspersky PURE R2 in one of the following cases:

  • The product was fully installed (with either Express or Custom installation type selected, the list of the installed components was not changed); however during the product deployment work of some components was paused either manually or by some other reasons.   

  • The Anti-Spam component was not installed during Custom installation, while all other product components are functioning and running.

In the first case Kaspersky Lab's experts recommend enabling all protection components. In order to do this, perform the following actions:

  1. click Computer Protection
  2. on the left hand part of the window, select Protection Center
  3. on the right hand part of the window, click on the Files and private data button
  4. on the Protection components - Kaspersky PURE, enable the disabled components
  5. click Close
  6. on the Computer Protection window, click Back
  7. close the main application window.

In the second case you can perform one of the following actions:

  • Install the Anti-Spam component: go to Start > All Programs > select Kaspersky PURE > Modify, Repair or Remove. 

 

  • Hide the message in the main application window. In order to do this, perform the following actions:
    1. open the main application window
    2. on the upper part of thw indow, click on  the Fix it Now button
    3. on the General protection status - Kaspersky PURE window, select the message "Some components are disabled"
    4. click on the Hide message button
    5. on the bottom right hand corner, click Close
    6. close the main application window
