In Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 you can password-protect access to the application settings.
If you forget or lose your password, then you will not be able to perform the following actions:
To disable password protection, contact Kaspersky Lab Technical Support via the My Kaspersky service.
You cannot disable password protection (if you forgot your password) without assistance of the Kaspersky Lab specialists.
Release of antivirus database updates (required to protect your computer/server/mobile device)
Providing technical support over phone / web
Release of patches for the application (addressing detected bugs)
*Installation under Windows 8.1 is not supported by the current version.
