Kaspersky Internet Security 2013

How to enable/disable Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 postponed automatic start at computer startup

Back to "Advanced Settings"
2012 Nov 20 ID: 9131

In Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 you can postpone automatic application start for quicker OS load.

Still, it is not recommended to enable the functionality, as Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 will not scan network connections established before application launch. For example, Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 will not intercept actions of malicious programs which receive or transfer data at the system startup.

To enable/disable the option of the postponed automatic application start, do the following:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the right upper corner of the window click Settings.

  1. In the Settings window go to the Advanced Settings window.
  2. In the left part of the window select Compatibility.
  3. In the right part of the window check/clear the Concede operating system resources at computer startup box.
  4. In the Settings window click OK.

  1. Close the main application window.
