After scoring a top result in malware detection in the extensive 3-week comparative testing program published in the August Virus Bulletin issue, the application has been awarded with VB100.
The testing program was comparing 54 popular antivirus products on the Windows Vista Business Edition SP2 platform. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 R2 for Windows Workstations disinfected 100% of polymorph and “in-the-wild” viruses used for testing, in the “on-demand” and “real-time protection” modes. Also, the Kaspersky Lab application successfully neutralized almost every trojan, work and bot. The Checkmark Platinum Product Award is a prestigious new award from West Coast Labs, an independent cybersecurity testing and research center.
