After the installation of a Kaspersky Lab product, your operating system may stop responding during computer start or a task execution. There might be a conflict either with your computer software or with some drivers and Kaspersky Lab product.
When a Kaspersky Lab product stops unexpectedly, it automatically creates a dump file in the hidden folder: С:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\.
If the dump file was not created automatically, you can get a dump file for the an avp.exe process using the utility User Mode Process Dumper Version 8.1 (C) Microsoft Corporation (userdump). Perform the following actions:
Note: In Windows Vista / 7 and Windows 8 / Windows Server 2008 (R2), the process dump can be created using Task Manager.
