You can remotely upgrade Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 Service Pack 1 for Linux to Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 Service Pack 1 Maintenance Release 1 for Linux using Kaspersky Security Center by performing the following procedure.

To upgrade the application managed by the Kaspersky Security Center policy:

  1. Upgrade Network Agent to the latest version.

If Network Agent is not upgraded, the application cannot be managed through Kaspersky Security Center.

The application functions correctly during a Network Agent upgrade.

  2. Remotely install Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 Service Pack 1 Maintenance Release 1 for Linux.

If Kaspersky Endpoint Security needs to be restarted to complete the installation and the NeedToRestart event occurs, wait until the remote installation task is completed. After that, restart Kaspersky Endpoint Security by using Kaspersky Security Center. If the package is installed successfully after restart, then a new version of the application is launched. If the package installation completes with error, then the application rolls back, and the previous application version is launched. However, a new version will be indicated in the package manager (rpm/dpkg).

More details about this type of application upgrade can be found in the Kaspersky Security Center documentation.
