The following prerequisites must be met to successfully transfer data via the OPC protocol:

  • The required DCOM rights are assigned to OPCEnum both on the SCADA system and in Kaspersky Security Gateway.
  • Unified authentication is set for the computer with Kaspersky Security Gateway installed and the SCADA system: domain authentication is used, or the same user name / password are used for all computers of the work group.

To configure data transfer using the OPC protocol via the Kaspersky Security Gateway Console, do the following:

  1. In the Start menu of Microsoft Windows select All applications > Kaspersky Security Gateway > Kaspersky Security Gateway Console.

The Kaspersky Security Gateway window opens.

You can also open the Console by clicking the Kaspersky Security Gateway option in the menu of the Kaspersky Security Gateway Tray Icon.

  2. In the Kaspersky Security Gateway node select the OPC child node.
  3. In the Data transmission settings section of the results pane click the Change link.

    The Settings window opens.

  4. Clear or select the Enable data transmission check box.
  5. Click the OK button.
  6. In the Monitored values section of the results pane click the Change link.

The Monitored values settings window opens.

  7. Current settings for values with assigned tags are displayed in the list. You can edit the following settings:
    • Select the check boxes next to the values you want to monitor.
    • Assign a new service tag in the Service tag column.

The new configuration is saved.
