There are two versions of Kaspersky Secure Connection for Mac available: standard and extended. The standard version is free but its functionality is limited.

When you install Kaspersky Secure Connection for Mac, you automatically get the standard version of the app. To get the extended version, you must purchase and activate a subscription. To learn how to switch to the extended version of the application, see the instructions in this article.

You can choose one of the following subscriptions for Kaspersky Secure Connection:

  • One month with autorenewal: This subscription will be renewed automatically at the end of each term until you cancel it. Purchasing a second subscription does not increase the license term or the maximum number of devices you can connect to it.  
  • One year: You must manually renew this subscription at the end of each term. If you don’t renew your subscription, the application will revert to the standard version. When you purchase a subscription for the second time the length of its term is increased (2 months, 3 years and longer). The maximum number of devices that can be connected remains the same.
