When you are connected to a public or home wireless network that is not sufficiently secure, your personal information could be intercepted by criminals.

Kaspersky Small Office Security checks the status of the wireless network based on data from the Kaspersky Security Network along with a set of other criteria, such as whether a vulnerable encryption protocol or a common network name (SSID) are used. Using this information, Kaspersky Small Office Security determines whether or not the network is secure.

By default, notifications about vulnerabilities in Wi-Fi networks are disabled. We recommended enabling them.

You cannot enable notifications about vulnerabilities in wireless networks in Kaspersky Small Office Security if Kaspersky Secure Connection is installed on your computer. You can enable them via Kaspersky Secure Connection instead.
