In case of issues with the Kaspersky application, technical support may ask you to send a Spindump file. This can help identify the problem if the application stops responding, crashes, or is not running well.

  1.  Go to Applications → Utilities and open Activity Monitor

  1. Find the kav process in the list.  
  2. Open the settings menu and click Run Spindump.

Starting Spindump

  1. Click Save to create the file.

Saving Spindump to a file
