  • Service Pack 1 Maintenance Release 3 (version 10.2.5.3201)

The System Watcher component includes the following technologies:

  • Automatic Exploit Prevention, which blocks malicious applications that exploit software vulnerabilities.
  • Application Privilege Control, which performs an action specified in the component settings when it detects suspicious application behavior.
  • Rollback of malware actions. Information about suspicious actions in the system is collected not only for the current session, but also for previous sessions. This allows you to roll back all actions performed by an application if it is subsequently recognized as malicious.
  • Protection against ransomware, a type of malware that encrypts your files and demands a payment in order to restore them.
