Adding training units to a topic

To add a training unit to a topic:

  1. In the program's web interface, in the Content section select the tab of the Special course you want to change the topic for.
  2. Click the Language: <language> button, and in the new window select the language added to the topic. Confirm your selection by clicking the Save button.

    The Special course content will include the cards of topics uploaded in the Special course in the selected language.

    The topic card won't appear in the content of the Special course if the topic doesn't have the language selected in this window.

  3. Open the window with the topic settings by clicking the menu icon and choosing Edit unit in the drop-down menu.

    The Language settings section → <language selected in the Special course section>.

  4. Make sure the selected language matches the language of the unit you want to add to the topic.

    If the language is incorrect, select the required language in the Language settings or add it using the Add language button.

  5. In the Topic name field, enter the topic name in the language previously selected.
  6. Click the topic cover.

    The unit upload window will open.

  7. In the Unit description field, enter a short description of the training unit in the language previously selected.
  8. In the Unit file section, click the Upload button and select the training unit file to upload.

    Requirements for uploaded courses:

    • Supported formats: SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, PDF.
    • The file with meta information about the course must be located at the root of the training unit.
    • The course should signal that it's complete when a user finishes it.

    The training unit file will be uploaded to the platform and automatically sent for review, which can take up to half an hour. You can close the window or refresh it periodically to monitor the status of the file. The file scan status is also displayed as an icon on the topic card.

    If when uploading the training unit there are errors related to a lack of RAM, disable all browser extensions for the period of uploading materials.

  9. Wait until the uploaded file is checked.

Now the training unit has been added to the topic for the selected language. The topic can now be published.
