Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum must be updated if you want to update Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows to version 11.7 or later.
If you have previously used the solution with Kaspersky Security for Windows Server, we recommend that you migrate from Kaspersky Security for Windows Server to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows 12.0 or later, which contains a built-in agent. For details on migration, refer to the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows Help.
If Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum 1.1 (or earlier) is used together with various applications for protecting the IT infrastructure, the update process depends on the solution used to centrally manage network security: local (Kaspersky Security Center) or cloud (Kaspersky Security Center Cloud Console).
