The Advanced Disinfection is in progress message appears on the screen. The operating system is blocked for the duration of disinfection. If necessary, the application searches for available updates and performs an update of databases and software modules. The computer is restarted automatically after disinfection has been completed.
As a result of disinfection, an infected file can be disinfected, deleted or quarantined.
The Protected Browser window opens. The color of the window frame changes to yellow, which indicates a reduction in the protection level.
The application attempts to remove active malware without restarting the computer. If the malware is successfully deleted, the color indicator of the browser frame will change to green. If the attempt to disinfect without restarting is unsuccessful, Kaspersky Fraud Prevention for Endpoints will disinfect the active malware during the next restart of the computer.
