To use Kaspersky Password Manager features in a browser, you must install the Kaspersky Password Manager extension for the browser. Kaspersky Password Manager uses the extension to autofill online forms, automatically sign you in to websites, and quickly save new bank cards, addresses, and accounts for websites.
After you install Kaspersky Password Manager and connect to My Kaspersky, the application prompts you to choose browsers that you want to use with Kaspersky Password Manager and install the extensions for these browsers. The browser selection window displays only browsers that are supported by Kaspersky Password Manager.
If you want to enable the extension for Safari, click Enable Extension.
The Extensions tab of the Safari preferences opens.
In the Extensions tab of the Safari preferences, select the checkbox next to the Kaspersky Password Manager extension.
Close the Safari preferences window.
In the Kaspersky Password Manager window, the status of the Safari extension changes to Extension enabled.
If you want to install the extensions for Chrome or Firefox, click Get Extension.
The folder selection window opens with the manifest file installation folder selected.
Note: This window is only displayed if the manifest file has not been installed previously.
In the folder selection window, click Install Manifest without changing the installation folder.
Important: The manifest file installation folder displays correctly only if you have already opened Chrome or Firefox after it is installed. You must open the browser at least once to create folders and unpack the necessary files.
The Chrome Web Store or the Add-ons Manager opens, depending on the browser.
Follow the instructions in the Chrome Web Store or the Add-ons Manager to install the extension.
Important: Make sure to enable the Kaspersky Password Manager extension in the browser settings.
If needed, repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 to install the extension for the other browser.
When you have enabled or installed the extensions for all the browsers in which you want to use Kaspersky Password Manager features, click Continue.
For browser-specific information, please refer to the help or documentation for the particular browser.
You can also skip installing the extensions by clicking Install Extensions Later and confirming the action in the alert that appears and install the extensions later.
You can use the Browsers tab of the application preferences window to see the browsers for which the Kaspersky Password Manager extensions are installed and to open the Safari preferences, the Chrome Web Store, or the Add-ons Manager to enable or install the extension.
