Unlocking the vault

If the vault is locked, Kaspersky Password Manager functions are unavailable.

By default, the vault is locked automatically after the device has been idle for 60 minutes. You may change the automatic vault blocking conditions.

To unlock the vault:

1. Open the master password entry window in one of the following ways:
   • Right-click the application icon in the Start menu or on the desktop of your account.
   • In the taskbar notification area, right-click the application icon. Select Unlock.

   The Kaspersky Password Manager window opens.

2. In the Master password field, enter the master password.
3. Click the Unlock button.

The vault is unlocked. The main application window opens.

To unlock the vault from the browser extension:

1. In the upper-right corner of the browser window, click the button.

   The Kaspersky Password Manager window opens.

2. In the Master password field, enter the master password.
3. Click the Unlock button.

The vault is unlocked. The main application window does not open so you can continue using the browser.
