Checking for updates

Kaspersky Password Manager automatically checks for updates. If necessary, you can check whether updates are available and install them manually.

To check for updates and install them manually:

  1. Open the main application window.
  2. In the lower part of the window, click the button.
  3. In the application tray menu, select Check for updates.

The check for updates starts. The check may take several minutes. When updates are available, the New version of Kaspersky Password Manager is available window opens.

  4. Click the What's new in version link to open the What's new window.

In the window that appears, you can view the list of updates that are available to be downloaded and installed.

  5. Do one of the following:
    • To download and install available updates, click the Download and Install button.

By clicking the Download and Install button, you accept the terms of the End User License Agreement between you and AO Kaspersky Lab. You can read the End User License Agreement by clicking the End User License Agreement link.

It may take several minutes to download and install an update. When the update has finished, you are prompted to enter the master password for access to the vault.

    • To postpone downloading and installing available updates, click the Remind me later button.

The download and installation process will be postponed. Kaspersky Password Manager will remind you about available updates 24 hours later.

    • If you do not wish to download and install available updates, in the context menu of the button, select Do not remind about this update.

The download and installation of updates will be canceled.
