Removing the application
Names of Microsoft Windows interface elements can vary in different versions of the operating system.
To remove Kaspersky Password Manager:
- In the Start menu, select Control Panel Programs and Features.
- In the list of installed applications, select Kaspersky Password Manager. Click Uninstall.
The Kaspersky Password Manager Uninstall Wizard starts.
- Follow the instructions of the Kaspersky Password Manager Uninstall Wizard.
Before uninstalling the application, the Kaspersky Password Manager Uninstall Wizard prompts you to either remove the application entirely or save some of the data. Saved data can be used later by the Setup Wizard.
You can save the following Kaspersky Password Manager data for reuse before removing the application:
- Connection settings
- Application settings
- Vault
Kaspersky Password Manager deletes the vault of only that operating system user who started the application removal process.
To delete application data when uninstalling Kaspersky Password Manager,
clear check boxes opposite the data that you want to delete.
If necessary, after application removal is finished, you can manually delete the vault file and the file that contains the application settings.
