Step 6. Connecting a virtual hard drive

To connect a virtual hard drive for installing the operating system:

  1. Select one of the following options:
    • If you want to create a new virtual hard disk, select the Create a virtual hard disk option and do the following:
      1. In the Name field, enter the name for the new hard disk.
      2. In the Location field, specify the path to the folder where the virtual hard disk will be located.
      3. In the Size field, enter the size of the virtual hard disk.
    • If you want to connect an existing virtual hard disk, select the Use an existing virtual hard disk option and specify the path to the virtual hard disk in the Location field.
    • If you want to connect a virtual hard disk later, select the Attach a virtual hard disk later option.
  2. Click Next.

The Wizard proceeds to the next step.
