You can upgrade Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent (including the 5.2.1 update) to Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.0 Light Agent.
Upgrading of earlier Kaspersky Security versions to version 6.0 is not provided.
Before you begin the upgrade, you need to prepare the files required to install the solution and complete the steps necessary to prepare the virtual infrastructure for installation of the solution.
Updating Kaspersky Security to Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.0 Light Agent consists of the following steps:
If Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux was installed on the virtual machine, it must also be uninstalled.
If you want to continue to protect virtual machines running Windows guest operating systems, you need to use the Light Agent for Windows component included in Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent.

As part of the Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.0 Light Agent solution, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 12.0 for Linux is used as the Light Agent for Linux. You need to install the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux application and configure it to be used in Light Agent mode.
Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.0 Light Agent is not compatible with VMware NSX-V Manager. VMware NSX-V Manager connection settings configured in a previous version of Kaspersky Security are not applied after updating to version 6.0.
