This Privacy Policy describes the handling of user data by the respective Kaspersky Protection Extension (“Extension”) for KIS, KSOS, KTS, KFA, KAV and KS (each of them a “Product”). The Extension supplements the respective Kaspersky Product. Details about the functions of the Extensions and the user data each function will process are described in paragraph 1. All other paragraphs are applicable to all of the above mentioned Extensions.

1. Data Collection and Usage (Extension for KIS, KSOS, KTS, KFA and KAV)

1.1. URL Advisor

Purpose: URL Advisor categorizes links on a web page and notifies the user about categories of web resources URLs lead to as well as the level of danger they pose.

Processed data: URL Advisor retrieves all URLs from a web page in order to be processed by the respective Product.

1.2. Anti-Banner

Purpose: Anti-Banner adds a banner's URL to the local banner list which allows you to block banners using a context menu displayed on a web page.

Processed data: Anti-Banner retrieves the URL of the current web page and the URL of a banner which should be blocked in order to be processed by the respective Product.

1.3. Web Activity

Purpose: Web Activity shows security notifications for active tabs and applies the time limits set by the Parental Control component.

Processed data: Web Activity retrieves the URL as well as the usage duration of the active tab in order to be processed.

2. Data Collection and Usage (Extension for KS)

2.1. URL Advisor

Purpose: URL Advisor categorizes links on a web page and notifies the user about categories of web resources URLs lead to as well as the level of danger they pose.

Processed data: URL Advisor retrieves all URLs from a web page in order to be processed by KS.

2.2. Anti-Banner

2.4. Created Password Control

Purpose: Created Password Control notifies the user about the cryptographic strength of a new password entered while creating/restoring an account on a web resource.

Processed data: The cryptographic strength of the password entered by the user is directly calculated within the Extension.

2.5. Web Activity

Purpose: Web Activity shows security notifications for active tabs and applies the time limits set by the Parental Control component of KS.

Processed data: Web Activity retrieves the URL as well as the usage duration of the active tab in order to be processed by KS.

2.6. Search Activity

Purpose: Search Activity categorizes search requests in order to generate informational messages about search results.

Processed data: Search Activity retrieves the search request string and the list of URLs returned by the search engine in order to be processed by KS.

3. Data Sharing

The Extension will neither share nor transmit any user data outside your device. Once activated, it will solely interact with the respective locally installed Product and perform local data processing.

Processed data: Safe Browser retrieves the URL of the requested web page in order to be processed by the Product.

The Extension will neither share nor transmit any user data outside your device. Once activated, it will solely interact with your locally installed Product and perform local data processing.

This Privacy Policy describes the handling of user data by Kaspersky Password Manager Extension for Kaspersky Password Manager for Windows (“Extension”). The Extension supplements your Kaspersky Password Manager for Windows (“Product”) installation.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Details about the function of the Extension and the user data the function will process:

Password Management for Kaspersky Password Manager 9.X

Purpose: To store user's web resource logins, passwords, addresses and bank card forms data within the Product, and to insert them from the Product into sign in and other forms on web resources.

Processed data: Data processed locally, i.e. solely on the user's device: web page content, user’s login, password, first name, last name, address, card number, cardholder name, CVV, expiration date, the current URL of the web page where user's credentials were entered, the URL of the web page where the user came from, the type and version of the browser. User activity: clicks, mouse position, keystroke logging. Data received by Kaspersky: version and localization of the Extension and link destination.

2. Data Sharing

Once activated, the Extension interacts with the user's locally installed Product and neither shares nor transmits any user’s data outside the user's device, except the version and localization of the Extension and link destination.

This Privacy Policy describes the handling of user data by Kaspersky Password Manager Extension for Kaspersky Password Manager for Mac (“Extension”). The Extension supplements your Kaspersky Password Manager for Mac (“Product”) installation.

Details about the function of the Extension and the user data the function will process:

Password Management for Kaspersky Password Manager 9.X

Privacy Policy - Kaspersky Threat Intelligence Portal Plugin

1. Data Collection and Usage

1.1. Looking Up

Purpose: Kaspersky TIP Plugin looks up URLs, IP addresses, hashes (MD5, SHA1, and SHA256), and domains straight from displayed web pages by using the Kaspersky Threat Intelligence Portal lookup functionality.

Processed data: URLs, IP addresses, hashes (MD5, SHA1, and SHA256), and domains selected by the user on displayed web pages.

2. Data Sharing

For the purpose of providing the product's main capabilities, Kaspersky TIP Plugin transmits to Kaspersky Threat Intelligence Portal a user name, password, as well as elements (URLs, IP addresses, MD5, SHA1, SHA256 and domains) selected by the user on web pages.
