Deleting information from the Event log and statistics

Event log and statistics database records are deleted automatically upon expiry of the period specified in the Event log settings and statistics settings (Configuring Event log settings and Configuring statistics settings). However, you can delete records manually if required. Records are deleted from the database separately for each server.

To delete records from the Event log and statistics database manually:

  1. Select the server for which you want to delete records from the Event log and statistics database.

  2. On the action panel, click the Delete records button, and in the dropdown list select one of the following items:
    • Event log.
    • Mail protection statistics.
    • Replication protection statistics.
    • Database scanning statistics.

As a result, information correspond to the selected list item is deleted from the kaveventslog.nsf database for the selected server.
