Designating profile administrators

To designate a profile administrator:

  1. Select the profile for which you want to designate an administrator.
  2. In the action panel click the Modify button.
  3. In the control panel select the General Settings tab and specify the name of the profile administrator or the name of the group of administrators in one of the following ways:
    • Enter the name of the administrator or the name of the group of administrators manually. The name has a hierarchical format (Lotus Notes hierarchy, company hierarchy).
    • Select the name of the administrator or the name of the group of administrators from the Lotus Domino server Address book by clicking the Selection button button.

    Only users with privileges from one of the three functional groups can be designated a profile administrator: Security administrators, Control Center administrators, or Administrators with restricted privileges can be designated as profile administrators.

    By default, users belonging to the Control Center administrators functional group are designated as profile administrators during installation of the application.

  4. In the action panel, click the Apply button to save the changes. You can restore the default settings by clicking the Restore defaults button.
