How to save a subscription for Kaspersky for Android when restoring your device to factory settings
When you restore your device to factory settings, the Kaspersky for Android app will be deleted along with any license information. To save your current subscription, do one of the following before resetting your device:
- Connect the application to My Kaspersky using this guide.
- If you used the activation code for activating the app, find it and use again with the help of this guide.

Your subscription details will be saved in your account.
After resetting the device:
- Install Kaspersky for Android using these instructions.
- Connect the app to My Kaspersky.
The subscription will be activated on your device.
Enter the activation code
After resetting the device:
- Install Kaspersky for Android using these instructions.
- Enter the activation code using the instructions.
Information about the subscription will be restored.

Where is the activation code I bought?
- If you bought the activation code in the online store, your can find your activation code in the message sent to your email address used for purchase.
- If you bought the activation code in a CD format, you will find your activation code on the Quick Start Guide inside the box.
- If you bought the activation code as a renewal card offline, you will find the code on the renewal card.
- If you bought the activation code on My Kaspersky, go to the Subscriptions section and find the activation code in the subscription information block.
How to restore the activation code using the license key
If you don’t have the activation code, you can send us a screenshot with the license key to restore it:
- Open the subscription information.
- Take a screenshot of the windows that opens.
- If the issue persists, submit a request to Kaspersky Customer Service. Attach the screenshot with the license key to your request.
We will send you the restored activation code.
How to restore the activation code without the license key
If you purchased the license from the Kaspersky online store
Contact our e-commerce partner from whom you made your purchase:
- Nexway (the order number starts with 2 or 3 and contains digits and Latin letters)
- 2Checkout (the order number contains 8 numeric digits)
- Digital River (the order number contains 11 or 12 numeric digits)
If you purchased the premium version of the application on Google Play
To restore the activation code, contact Kaspersky Customer Service. Specify in your request:
- The e-mail address used for your Google account
- The order number in the GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX format. Your order history is available on Google Play and on the payments.google.com page.
