"The license does not apply to this application" error

When activating a Kaspersky Lab product, you may encounter the error "Activation code is not suitable for this application". The error occurs when you are trying to activate an outdated version of the product with a new activation code.
To continue using the product, do the following:
- Download the latest version of the product from the Kaspersky Lab website.
- Install the application.
- Activate the product with your activation code.
If the error persists, submit a request to Kaspersky Customer Service by choosing the topic and filling out the form.
