Installing the ksmg_upgrade_2.1.0.7854_openssh_cve_2024_6387

This Help section contains instructions on how to install the ksmg_upgrade_2.1.0.7854_openssh_cve_2024_6387 update package for KSMG 2.1.

After installing this package, the versions of application components are updated.

Download the update package as a ZIP archive from the Kaspersky website and extract it on your computer.

Before installing, configure SSH access to cluster nodes.

KSMG services may be paused while the update is being installed. The upgrade process may take several minutes. After it starts, do not interrupt the update process or turn off the server. After installing the updates, you may need to restart the application.

If the cluster consists of a single node, installing such a package will temporarily interrupt the functioning of the application.

To update the application on a cluster of multiple nodes:

1. Make sure all cluster nodes are available and have no errors.

   To do so, in the web interface of the Control node, go to the Nodes section. If there is no access to the cluster node, or if errors are encountered on the node, resolve the problems before you start the update process.

2. Install the update package sequentially on each of the Secondary nodes.
3. Install the update package on the Control node.
