Automatic uploading of Kaspersky applications crash dump files to Kaspersky servers
Latest update: October 14, 2022
ID: 10023
In case a Kaspersky application causes an error on your computer, a crash dump file is automatically created and sent to Kaspersky engineers for detailed investigation.
Upload of a system dump file to Kaspersky servers does not result in automatic creation of a request to Kaspersky technical support; thus you will not receive a report on application crash once the investigation is complete.
If you want to get a detailed description of the application failure and further recommendations on how to resolve such situations, contact Kaspersky technical support by choosing a topic for your request. Add the following data to the request:
- application crash dump file:
- in Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11 the dump file is automatically saved to the %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Kaspersky Lab folder.
- in Windows XP, the dump file is automatically saved to the %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab folder.
(The folders mentioned above are normally hidden. To show them, enable display of hidden files and folders).
- report of the GetsystemInfo utility.
- detailed description of what happened on your computer.
