How to reactivate a Kaspersky application with the same activation code

Should you encounter activation errors such as The key is already in use, we recommend deleting the key from the application and activating the application once again.
Before deleting the key from the application, check whether the activation code has been saved. You will not be able to reactivate the application without an activation code.
To save your activation code, connect the application to My Kaspersky. Information about the license will then appear in the Subscriptions section of My Kaspersky.
To delete the license key and activate the application again, follow the instructions for your application.
For Kaspersky Standard, Plus, Premium
- In the main application window, select your profile.
- If you’re not sure how to open the main application window, see the instructions.
- Click Details.
- Click Remove.
- To remove the license key, click Delete.
- If the required subscription is available, select it and click Use subscription. If the required subscription is not available, click I have an activation code. Enter the activation code and click Activate.
- Wait until the activation wizard completes, and then click the Done button.
If you encounter the “Key file corresponds to another application” error, reinstall the application using these instructions.
For Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Total Security
- In the lower-right corner of the application window, click License. The button may be named Subscription if you have a subscription licensing plan.
- If you’re not sure how to open the main application window, see the instructions.
- Click Show details.
- Click .
- To remove the license key, click Yes.
- Click Enter activation code.
- Enter the activation code and click Activate.
- Wait until the Wizard completes, and then click the Finish button.
If you encounter the “Key file corresponds to another application” error, reinstall the application using these instructions.
